We are pleased to invite all partner universities to participate in the annual International Week at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (ViA), which will take place from September 16 to September 20, 2024, in Valmiera, Latvia.
EVENT OVERVIEW
The theme for International Week 2024 is "Shaping Minds: The Intersection of Deep Tech and Modern Education." This event aims to bring together experts, academics, and students to explore the impact of cutting-edge technologies on various fields, foster international collaborations, and discuss creative approaches to education that prepare students for the future. The event will feature guest lectures from visiting lecturers, offering valuable insights and diverse perspectives on deep tech and modern education.

OPEN CALL FOR GUEST LECTURES
We invite esteemed lecturers from our partner universities to lead open lectures on a range of specific themes provided by Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences. Participants can choose from topics within the fields of tourism, business, creative industries, and deep tech.
This is an excellent opportunity for E3UDRES2 network partners to test the shared lectures format with ViA colleagues.
BUSINESS
Explore the latest trends and innovations in business management, strategy, and entrepreneurship.

- Current affairs in copyright in the digital environment and/or in relation to artificial intelligence in the context of media and social media;
- Current affairs in media effect research with an emphasis on the role of social media in various aspects of young people's lives;
- Current trends in influencer/micro-celebrities research with an emphasis on their importance in solving youth civic participation and other socially relevant issues;
- Crisis communication from the perspective of companies;
- Latest trends in crisis communication;
- Crisis communication & social media.
